Quantica Legal is a judgment research service operated by alexsantos.ie, Ireland. This draft describes the proposed conditions for accounts and subscriptions.
The service and your account
Quantica provides information from published Hong Kong personal injury and employees’ compensation judgments, search tools and links to the decisions. Keep your account details accurate and your credentials secure. Access is for the users covered by your agreement. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
Trials and payment
The free trial lasts seven days and covers a selected sample of judgments. One trial is available per account. No payment details are required and the trial does not automatically become a paid subscription. Paid plans are invoiced annually in HKD, with payment by bank transfer. Seats, fees, renewal, cancellation and refund arrangements must be confirmed in your order or signed agreement.
Permitted use and licensing
Use the service for your authorised professional work. Do not share credentials, bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or bulk extract or resell the database. Exports, product integrations and commercial redistribution require a separate written licence. Rights in the original judgments remain subject to the relevant rights holders and source terms.
Your research responsibility
The service is a research tool. It does not provide legal advice or value a particular claim. Check the original decision, the facts, applicable law and subsequent decisions before relying on a result. An award in one case does not promise an outcome in another.
Changes and termination
We may restrict access to address a security risk, a breach of contract or a legal requirement, giving notice where reasonably possible. Material changes to the service or commercial terms will be communicated separately. Liability limits, termination rights and dispute procedures remain subject to legal review and the signed agreement. This draft does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law and contact
The proposed governing law is Hong Kong law, with disputes heard by the Hong Kong courts, without restricting mandatory statutory rights. Contact hello@quanticalegal.com.
